I offer all aspects of hardware and software support and repair for Apple computers and Windows PCs of all brands. I am able to source and install new and used components and offer a fast turn around service.

Focusing on home computers, domestic IT and home workers means that I understand how you want to use your computer and how it needs it connect with all of your other devices. I established the business in 2005 and have been providing support to home computer users in and around Cambridge ever since with hundreds of happy customers.

Preferring to visit you, I have a number of appointments available throughout the day and evening. If you prefer to drop your computer off with me my workshop is behind my house in central Cambridge, off Mill Road.

With more and more people choosing to work from home it’s even more important to have someone available to solve all of the computer problems quickly and efficiently, for many of my customers I offer remote support, ideal for solving that small problem without the need for a visit.

Not all problems are computer problems, some are broadband or wifi problems, these almost always need a home visit to assess and resolve, I have many years experience with BT and Virgin Media Broadband, I will know how to deal with the problem.

I have been working on WordPress web sites for many years, creating new sites and maintaining existing ones. WordPress is an excellent platform for a website, being very flexible it’s probably the easiest and most powerful blogging and website content management system (or CMS) in existence today.

It’s all very well having a website, can it be found in Google and Bing? What I am not is a ‘SEO Agency’. More and more devices are internet enabled, requiring connections to the internet either by wired ethernet or wireless. SmartTV features require a good quality internet connection, devices such as Amazon echo™ and Google Home™ offer great services but only when they have a fast and reliable internet connection.

Streaming services from BT, Sky, Virgin Media and Amazon via the Amazon fireTV™ system also require good connectivity, it’s becoming more and more common to distribute the single broadband service around the home, something I can help with.
